List of Holiday and Winter Books we enjoyed this year

I wanted to jot down a list of the books we enjoyed this year. I have already returned some to the library, but here are a few of the ones that we still have at home.

Toot and Puddle: Let it Snow by Holly Hobbie

Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree by Robert Barry

Grandmother Winter by Phyllis Root

Santa Claus is Comin' to Town Illus. by Steven Kellogg

The Three Snow Bears by Jan Brett (other X-Mas books with Trolls (Who's that Knocking on Christms Eve) good for a little bit older. Rory said "I don't like the trolls, they are scary.)

A Sesame Street Christmas by Pat Tornborg (Also, we really enjoyed the DVD Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, which is the same special I remember watching as a kid.)

Peter Spier's Christmas! (Love everything he does.)

Richard Scarry's Best Christmas Book Ever!

Take Joy! The Tasha Tudor Christmas Book (Rory was too young for this, but I think she will enjoy it in a year or two.)

Tomie dePaola's Book of Christmas Carols

As you can see many of these books are out of print, which is why we love the library! Thank you to all those who have check out and returned these books so they are still available to share this Christmas 2007.

If I can remember the other books that we returned before the holidays I will add them.
